Very close encounter with a young elephant (loxodonta africana) in the dry forest of Chobe, Botswana. Chobe National Park is full of elephants - at times an estimated 25.000 animals along 42 kilometers of river front. The huge number of hungry elephants have a disastrous impact on the forest - many areas looks like a moon landscape.
