In the kitchen of Phyang Gompa. The monastery is located 17 km west of Leh not far from the Srinagar-Leh highway. Phyang Gompa was established in 1515, belongs to the red hat sect of buddism with about 50 resident monks. The impressive monastery is built on top of a hill with stunning views over the valleys below.
