From my daily sunset walk in Ås on southern Öland. The simple and beautiful Ås church (the oldest parts from around A.D 1100, expanded in 1773, redesigned in 1820) is surrounded by fields and pastures. The southern part of Öland is on the main bird migration route in spring and autumn, most serious bird watchers spend some time here twice a year. Ottenby, Öland.
