Evening at the beautiful Ås country church, close to Ottenby at the southern part of the Öland island. The oldest parts of the church is from around A.D 1100, the church was expanded in 1773 and redesigned in 1820.
The yellow flower is the Leopard's Bane (Doronicum sp, gemsrot or vårkrage), normally found in gardens but is here spread to the wild. The elegant silver and green flowered bell-like plant is the Drooping star of Bethlehem (Ornithogalum nutans, aftonstjärna).
Öland, Sweden.
