Show jumping is perhaps the best known equestrian discipline. Riding a course is testing the skill, accuracy and training of both horse and rider. Men and women compete as equals in both individual and team events.

Sweden with only 18 people/sq km2 offers a varied scenery. The country has a length north to south of 2.000 km and the coastline is stretching 7.300 km (longest in Europe). The african wild dog (Lycaon pictus), is an specialized hunter, living in packs of 10 to 15 animals. The pack hunts togehter as a team and at speed, up to 50 km/h. The african wild dog have been greatly reduced in numbers by man and diseases.

The impressive lion (Pantera leo) once occured in parts of Europe, Asia, the Middle East and in most of Africa. Left today is a patchy distribution in Africa south of Sahara. In Gir Forest in India the remaining (359 animals in 2006) of the Asiatic Lion can be found.

The African elephant (loxodonta africana) is to well known to need description. The enormous size/height and the trunk make them easy recognizable. The animal is sociable, can be very noisy and communicate with a variety of sounds. Under normal conditions elephants are tolerant animals but they can also be temperamental and unpredictable - many safari tourists have been terrified as a trumpeting angry elephant have mock charged their vechile.
