The giant and the dwarf
An elephant (loxodonta africana) is grazing as a cattle egret (bubulcus ibis) is hunting the insects disturbed by the giant. Botswana's Chobe National Park is full of elephants - at times an estimated 25.000 animals along 42 kilometers of river front. The huge number of hungry elephants have a disastrous impact on the forest - many areas looks like a moon landscape.
